He is a thought leader in how the Experience API will impact the industry, and written numerous industry articles on educational technology strategy. He studied Economics at the University of Washington and received his MBA from the University of Portland.
Russell has deep experience in full-stack software development with expertise in machine learning, data mining and information visualization. He has published peer-reviewed papers on a number of topics, including Latent Dirichlet Allocation, cyber infrastructure development, and research activity visualization. He is a major contributor and one of the world's top technical experts on the Experience API. Russell studied Information Science at Indiana University where he also led a team of developers in a research group.
Ali is responsible for content & inbound marketing, sales, and customer success. As a proven sales and training leader at T-Mobile, he was responsible for growing sales in the Washington business unit from $2M to $68M annually. While studying Physics and Bioengineering at the University of Washington, Ali published a research study on medical device technology. He's also a thought leader and connector in the Experience API community, in addition to contributing to the standard.
